Meet Henry the Handyman?

Our Story:

Mark “Henry” Lawson is first and foremost a local Mount Coolum father and husband who loves the Sunny Coast and hinterland we are very lucky to call home. When Henry isn’t working he loves to spend time at the beach, fishing, camping, and enjoying time with his family.

Mark established Henry’s the Handyman in 2021 after spending most of his career in the liquor industry as a business owner in the craft beer space and in sales with various wine, beer, and spirit merchants. On his weekends he would be working on building projects of some description, either on his own family home, kids cubby houses, or one of his large extended family’s homes!

When Covid-19 came along in 2020 it was a good time for a change and having had previous experience working on mining and gas construction sites as a young man, along with many types of trade roles including bricklaying, carpentry, plastering to name just a few of the jobs, this gave Mark the skillset required to kick start the Henry’s the Handyman business venture. Mark was keen to try out his building skills at a higher level and so Henry’s the Handyman was born.

Experience in real estate sales also gives Mark a unique perspective when considering how your job should be handled and what outcomes will be best suited to the particular needs of your property depending on the individual circumstances.
