We fully stripped out this structural wall to open up the kitchen/lounge which transformed the whole space, giving an open plan, light filled living area.

In planning this build we teamed up with Structural Engineers to come up with an acceptable and cost effective solution to the wide room space the client required.

To allow the space to be opened up we teamed up with G Polson Licensed Builders to install a large Glulam LVL structural beam, which immediately gave the whole space a new open plan look & feel.

The beam was installed sitting on top of two steel posts which were anchored in place to accept the large length and weight of the glam beam which measured 6.7mtrs across.
